Life under a black cloud…
A blanket wrapped around you made of lead…
Panic at the thought of socializing…
A calendar so full of obligations that you can’t bear to open it…
Lost joy over the things that used to make you beam…
Angst over saying yes when you really want to say no…
Feeling stuck in situations you don’t know how to get out of (job, relationship, etc.)…
Constant pressure to be perfect and do perfectly…
This is life under the black cloud of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Why clump them together?
Because they pair like the worst peanut butter and jelly sandwich you’ve ever had. One, unfortunately, begets the other.
Struggling to get out of bed in the morning can cause stress over how many other things you’re going to have to do just to be able to get back into your bed at night.
Nervousness about how to say “no” can lead to overwhelming sadness, because it feels impossible to do.
Always feeling as though there are not enough hours in the day lands you in a pit of despair.
Starting to get the picture?
Breaking out of the cycle…
Motivation for change is in rare supply – even on a really good day.
So, how can you possibly break out of your stress, worry and sadness when you’re caught in a perpetual cycle of terrible days?
You have to be able to separate the facts from the feelings, take action on what you can control and let go of what you can’t.
I’ll show you how by asking questions, making connections, and offering suggestions.
My techniques will help you figure out what’s true, what’s false, and what strengths you have to lift the black cloud.
With the new tools I’m imparting, clarity emerges, and your abilities and energy will magnify.
“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, it turned into a beautiful butterfly.” – Barbara Haines Howett
The black cloud DOES NOT have to be a way of life.
