Let’s do an experiment…
Sit somewhere comfortable. Close your eyes. Take 3 slow, deep breaths.
Once you feel calm and centered, say the following out loud: “I really like who I am.”
Did something in your body resist? If so, it’s time to get your thoughts and feelings aligned, so you never have to resist those words again.
Traps keeping us from feeling “good enough”…
Trying to be perfect…
Negative messages from childhood…
Painful break-ups…
The pressures of raising kids successfully…
They all convince us that we’re just not good enough. Guess what, though? It’s a lie!
Fighting a war in your mind…
Logic and emotion are tricky things, because they rarely co-exist peacefully. Instead, they jockey for position, leaving your confidence and self-esteem shaken.
People say that being emotional gets you into trouble. People say that being logical makes you a robot with no feelings.
Make peace with the war in your mind by learning how to balance the two.
You deserve to feel good about yourself…
… and with the right help, you can absolutely do it.
When you gain the skills to merge the conflicting thoughts and feelings and apply them every day, things change dramatically; you stop the major dips and start to consistently appreciate who you are.
It all starts with you and me in the room – my first goal is to help you feel safe and accepted.
From there, I’ll help you understand where the falsehoods came from – what contributed to forming your negative self-perception.
We’ll actively paint a new, ACCURATE picture that highlights all the wonderful things that make you, you.
We’ll work to forgive the limitations of the people, moments and things that perpetuated the ugliness in your mind.
By the end, you’ll like yourself again.
You’ll embrace your imperfections, because you’ll realize that no one is perfect (no matter what it may seem) – and they take NOTHING away from the beautiful person that you are.
You’ll spend more time recognizing and appreciating your many incredible attributes.
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the universe, deserve your love and affection.” – Buddha
